Service description
SeaGoat provides workflow software for inspection and due diligence in commercial real estate and industrial operations. The platform supports qualified professionals in evidence management, finding documentation, cost estimation, and report generation.
Use of service
Customer responsibilities:
- —Maintain authorized user access controls
- —Use the service for lawful purposes only
- —Ensure uploaded content complies with applicable laws
- —Maintain accuracy of account and project information
Intellectual property
- —SeaGoat owns the platform software, algorithms, and documentation
- —Customers own their data (inspection evidence, project information, workflow data)
- —Outputs generated by the platform (reports, cost estimates) are customer property
- —Customer grants SeaGoat license to process their data solely for service delivery
Professional responsibility
SeaGoat is a workflow support tool, not professional services. Licensed professionals (engineers, inspectors, consultants) remain responsible for final determinations, certifications, and compliance with professional standards.
Confidentiality
Both parties agree to maintain confidentiality of proprietary information shared during the business relationship. SeaGoat does not share customer data across organizations.

Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SeaGoat's liability is limited to fees paid by customer during the 12 months preceding any claim.
Termination
Either party may terminate with written notice. Upon termination, customer data is available for export according to retention agreements.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas.
